Myra’s point of view

He gestured for me to come sit down beside him on the bed, a light smile on his face, giving friendliness to his flinty appearance.

“I’m fine on my feet,” I declined his gesture, folding my arms over my chest, “I’d say don’t bother yourself with avenging me because you’re going to reject me the moment you learnt about my truth,” I said to him.

And that’s the truth. He has no idea I’m an omega, inside me lives a forbidden wolf marked for doom. He sure wouldn’t accept me the moment he knows about that, for it is against the shifters law.

Omegas are meant to perish the moment they’re birthed, it was a mandated conduct. They haven’t been an omega for decades now, and the few that graced the earth were erased after their first breath.

If it wasn’t for my parents, I wouldn’t be alive right now, they never told me the story about how they kept me safe.

However, all I know was that they were banished from their origin pack and sentenced into rogues, they
