Deja vu.

Vian and I were taking a walk alongside the banks of the east river. The beautiful sunset rays shone on his face making him look like a golden god.

“Isn’t this beautiful?” he spoke after a long silence of walking. I noticed him watching the sun, retreating its rays to give the stage to the moon and the stars.

It was the first time he spoke since we decided to take a walk. We both walked in comfortable silence like we were just enjoying each other’s company.

“Do you want me to take a picture of you with it?’ I asked him also watching the sunset.

“Good idea. Let’s do it together,” he said motioning me to come near him and then drifting his gaze to the beautiful sight behind us.

I nodded my head agreeing, and we both moved our bodies closer to each other with the orange sky behind us, deciding to take a selfie. He pulled his phone out of his pocket and adjusted the angle to capture the scenery behind us along with our faces.
