Turning swiftly to face the source of the commotion, I was taken aback to find Grandma Adaline sitting in her usual chair in the living room before me, her normally gentle demeanor replaced by a look of intense anger.

"Grandma, how could you do that? Why would you throw a glass cup at me?" I exclaimed, my shock shown in my voice as I struggled to comprehend her actions. Why would she do this? I wondered to myself. "Do you want to get me killed?" I asked, trying to get over the shock.

Rising from her chair with the aid of her walking stick, Grandma Adaline's stature seemed to grow in my eyes. I never would have imagined her capable of such a display of strength and aggression as hovering a glass over someone her age.

Her voice filled with anger as she confronted me: "How could you instruct your secretary to forcibly confine Allison in her room and leave her battered and bruised?"
