Yuvraj's POV

5:30AM IST, 9/32A, Singhania Mansion, Jor Bagh, Delhi NCR

Waking up by the alarm, I stretched my limbs and got up from the body. Today I woke up thirty minutes earlier as we have a flight to catch. And being my disciplined self, I didn't want to skip my workout. I made my ways towards the bathroom whilst stretching my arms and winced. Looks like I slept on the wrong side as my left arm is hurting a bit. 

I brushed my teeth and did my morning chores. Stepping out of the bathroom, I changed into my workout shorts and went to the gym. No I'm not skipping the jogging part but I think I will go for the treadmill today.

I skipped the stairs and went to the gym. Stretching my limbs, I got ready for my workout session.

After 2 hr 30 minutes

Wiping the sweats from my forehead, I went to my room. Then I took a shower whilst humming Heaven by Khalid.

Stepping out from the bathroom in a towel around my waist, I rummaged through my closet and finally found a perfect but comfortable outfit for traveling.

Wearing my sneakers, I combed my hair but didn't apply the hair gel. Fastening the watch around my wrist I went downstairs. I walked into the kitchen where mum was setting the dining table and bhabhi was bringing the dishes from kitchen.

"Good morning mum!" I pecked her cheek.

"Morning Raj! Is everything ready?" She asked.

"Yeah! Don't worry! I took care of everything by myself!" I said whilst making my way towards bhabhi. 

Giving her a side hug I greeted her too to which she replied back and patted my cheek.

She's the elder sister I've never got.

"So what's for breakfast today?" I asked whilst trying to peek through the lids. Key word "tried".

Bhabhi swatted my hands away.

"Go and call everyone. Then you can see what's there for breakfast today!" Bhabhi said.

I grunted (i am hungry for Pete's sake) but turned to go and call everyone but I saw dad and Duggu bhaiya already making their way downstairs.

I grinned and turned to bhabhi again. She noticed me and sent me a questioning glare. I smirked and pointed towards the stairs. She saw and smirked back at me.

"Koi ni devar ji! Jaaiye aur Alia ko utha k layiye!" She said smirking.

Translation - "No worries brother-in-law! Go and wake up Alia and bring her here!" 

I gasped "Wo abhi tak uthi nhi?! Don't tell me, I've to give her a bath?!!" 

Translation - "She hasn't woke up yet?!"

Actually once I begged bhabhi to gave her a bath, so she gave me an apologetic look and handed her to me. I shrugged off and took her to the bathroom placing her in her mini bathtub. But soon after that she started to splash the water everywhere including on me giggling. And she particularly gave me a bath when I already had one and was in my business suit. So from that day! I didn't mention to give her bath ever. 

Bhabhi scoffed and said rolling her eyes,"No! You're lucky. Actually she's all ready but she slept again as there was time for breakfast. So she has already took her bath! You don't need to worry!" 

"Can't you do that? I am hungry!" I whined then heard Snickers from behind.

I turn and gave Duggu bhaiya a glare. He smirked and sat on his seat and so did dad.

"Morning Yuvi!" They both wished to which I wished back and went upstairs to My princess' room.

I opened the door and squinted my eyes at the vibrant colour. 

Girls and their love for pink!!

I stepped inside carefully not waking any of her soldiers up. Yeah! You guess it right! These stuffed jokers are her soldiers and she is the Princess of this room or should I say castle in her language!!

I reached her bed Finally! Fin-fucking-ally!! And wiped my sweats off of my forehead and sighed looking at the stuffed jokers. Then I turned to see My princess sleeping peacefully whilst clutching her favourite bear "Pooh" to her chest. I glared at him. 

Yeah him! She herself told me that the bear is a he! And I didn't like her being close to any boy not even her stuffed bear!! I didn't like him being this close to my princess.

I slowly took her arms off that joker and picked it up whilst throwing daggers at him and murdering him a thousand times inside my head. I threw that away and picked up my sleeping princess in my arms. She snuggled into my chest making me smile. I kissed her on her head and made my way downstairs with the sleeping angel in my arms. Once I was in the dining hall, everyone looked at me then at Alia and smiled. 

I sat on my chair and placed Alia on my lap. Brushing the hairs off her face I cooed her to wake up.

"Wake up princess! Dekho aaj aapka favourite nashta banaya gaya hai!"

Translation - "See! Your favourite breakfast has been cooked today!"

She stirred in my arms and opened her eyes slowly. Suddenly my phone rang.

"Give her to me!" Duggu bhaiya took her from me and I took my phone out of my pant's pocket and picked up the call seeing the caller id. & it was Sid.

"Hello! Hey Sid! Everything ready?"

"Hey! Yeah everything is ready and Varun and me are now going to the airport. Are you guys ready and when are you all coming?"

"Yep we're ready! Just having our breakfast. Don't worry we will be there in 45 minutes."

"Aha that's fine! We will be waiting for you. Jaldi aa!" 

Translation - "Come soon!"

"Yeah! Coming!"

I hung up and put it inside my pocket.

"Varun aur Sid airport k liye nikal rahe hein. We should do it fast!" I said whilst digging into my breakfast.

Evryone nod except Alia who was now leaning on her father's chest and chewing her food sleepily. After breakfast, we took two cars to the airport with the bodyguards surrounding us. Mum, dad and me in one and Duggu bhaiya, bhabhi and Alia in another. Me and Duggu bhaiya were doing our driver duties.

After 35 minutes

It took us exactly 35 minutes to reach to the airport though the airport was just 20 minuntes away. But you know that traffic of Delhi!!

I took my duffle bag whilst the rest were took by the guards and we made our way inside the private part of airport for only VIPs where our private jet was waiting for us with Sid and Varun.

Once we entered the runway through the gate, I spotted both Sid and Varun near the jet. 

Varun was munching on something (like always) and Sid was looking irritated. Man! This is going to be a long flight!! Varun was the first to notice us and waved. 

I shook my head and followed my family to the flight. 

"Namste Uncle! Namaste aunty!" Sid said and touched their feet whilst my parents smiled and blessed him.

Then all of a sudden, Varun took my mum and dad into a hug, a group hug to be exact! 

"My ideal couple! Aunty I missed your food!" He pulled back grinning but gulped when he saw dad's glare.

This is going to be fun!

"Eh..e..I..uh..I am...so.. sorry..uncle!" He stuttered looking at his shoes but looked up shockingly when he heard dad's laugh and next everyone's.

Varun sheepishly smiled when dad patted his shoulder smiling.

"How are you young man?" Dad asked.

"I am good uncle. Just missed aunty's handmade food!" V said shrugging.

Mum smiled and patted his cheek.

"I'll cook you food whenever you want." Mum said making him grin.

"Thank you aunty!" Siddharth and all of us were smiling at them but we were interrupted by the little devil, Alia. She jumped into Sid's arms, who picked her up and spun her around.

"Hello my little fairy! I missed you" Sid asked.

"I missed you and V chachu more." Alia said in her cute voice.

Varun took her from Sid and kissed her cheeks. 

"Did you make any boyfriends?" It was the first question came out of Varun's mouth and it made me, Sid, dad and Duggu bhaiya glare at him.

He saw us and visibly gulped then chuckled nervously.

"I mean did you make any friends Sweetie?" Varun asked nervously. Alia nodded her head and told her friend's name to him. Then Sid and V greeted bhabhi and bhaiya and finally we settled in our seats of our flight. 

Sid sat by me and Varun with Alia sat in front of us. Mum, dad and bhabhi, bhaiya got their different seats. Sid and I talked about the project in Melbourne whilst V talked to Alia whilst she played games on his phone. 

After 2 hours

Currently me, Sid and Varun were in a car following another car in which dad, mum, bhabhi, bhaiya and Alia were seated with the bodyguards cars covering us. It's been 35 minuntes since we are driving and the Mumbai traffic isn't helping at all.

I was driving the car whilst Sid was in the passenger sit talking to his girlfriend, Shraddha. And Varun on the other hand was sulking behind listening to the love sick puppy Siddharth. Siddharth is very serious and disciplined but when it comes to Sharddha, he is nothing but the sweet teenager boy who is in love with his girlfriend more than anything in this world.

I've met Shraddha two times and indeed she is a very nice girl. Very responsible just like Sid! And they're match made in heaven. She's also Samaira's friend. They're bestfriends actually. But there were 3 of them and I didn't ever get the chance to meet Sam's and Shraddha's mutual friend. Mridula. The name they both takes with so much adoration, the name mum says with so much love, the name which is making my heart flutter unknowingly. I can't believe just someone's name can make you feel like this! It's so strange to be fair!!

I sighed and looked outside the window as we were waiting for the red light to turn green. I was in my thoughts when someone shook me. I came out of my dreamland and looked to see Sid was telling me to start the car. Soon I start the car and we were in front of my Chachu's mansion.

We all came out to greeted by Chachu (uncle/dad's brother) and Chachi (aunty/wife of chachu). They were smiling widely.

"Finally!" Chachi exclaimed and took mum into a bone crushing hug. They were just like sisters. 

"Welcome Bhai! How are you?"Chachu hugged dad.

"Main theek hu! How are you and how's everything going?" Dad asked.

"Everything's good and we're doing well!" Chachu said and took Duggu bhaiya into a hug whilst chachi was talking to baby Alia after welcoming bhabhi. Then uncle came to me and hugged me, Sid and Varun. 

They are my childhood friends so my family knew them. Then Chachi came and hugged us and kissed my forehead. 

"Come on let's go inside!" Chachi said leading us inside.

"Chachi! Where is Sam?" I asked whilst looking for her here and there but there was no sign on her.

"Actually she's with her friend Mridula and her mum. They went out for some shopping. She will come late tonight." She said.

Mridula!!

I nod and sat on the living room's couch where everyone else were sitting. Chachi served mum and dad coffee whilst uncle and Duggu bhaiya took Alia to her room. I denied for the refreshments and went upstairs to my room to take a nap and so did Sid and V. 

Yeah! You heard it right. This mansion has our own personal rooms. It's a family thing. We stayed here when we are in Mumbai. Even Sid and V has their rooms here. 

I opened my bedroom door and closed it behind me. I took off my shirt, watch and shoes and washed my face in the bathroom. Half dressed with my pants I laid on the bed and soon the tiredness made me doze off.

Knock Knock Knock

My sleep was interrupted by soft knocks. 

"Yuvi! Get up and come downstairs for lunch!" Mum said from behind the door.

"Yeah mum I am coming!" I said and got up yawning. I cracked my neck and changed in my closet.

I came downstairs to see the decoration work has begun. When we came from airport the cleaning work was going on. Well they're really fast!!

I went to the dining hall where everyone was already seated except chachi and bhabhi as they were serving. They served us Jeera rice, matar paneer, chole (chick pea masala), sarso da saag (Musturd greens cooked with onions and garlic in pure ghee), balti paneer (Cottage cheese fried with gram flour simmered in a nutty gravy), mattar paneer, paneer kulcha (Indian flat bread stuffed with cottage cheese), Dahi wada ( Lentil dumplings with yogurt sauce), fresh coriander chutney, lassi, samosa and gajar halwa (a dessert of carrots). A full authentic punjabi lunch tbh!! Damn!!

Chachi also makes the best food. Just like mum as she learnt from mum as my dadi (grandma) wasn't alive to teach her house chores and she was the princess of her dad so literally she was unaware of everything.

"Looks like I've to double up my workouts after today!" I exclaimed making everyone laugh. 

Soon chachi and bhabhi joined us and we all ate happily whilst talking with eachother after so long but Sam was the missing piece. Chachi has already fed all the workers who were here for the party decorations. She has got a golden heart just like my mum. Well I am lucky to have two mums. 

After our lunch, me, Sid and V helped mum and chachi in some decoration works whilst dad, chachu and Duggu bhaiya were out for some business. I heard my princess' voice when I was doing the touch-ups of the Puja hall with mum and chachi. 

"Chachu!" 

I dropped the lights aside and went to Alia who was standing on the last stair in her floral dress and she was looking so cute with the white headband. But what made me frown was her eyes brimming with tears.

I rushed to her and picked her up in my arms. 

"What happened Sweetie? Why are you crying?" I asked whilst wiping her tears.

"There's a lizard in my room! And it is scaring me." She said but her voice cracked at last. I clenched my jaw. I can't see my princess crying. 

"It's okay baby! Chachu will throw that out of your room and for now come on with me. I will buy you your favourite Chocolates and we will roam around the city. What's say?" I asked.

She instantly smiled and nodded. I pecked her forehead and went to the kitchen where bhabhi was making prasad for tomorrow's puja. 

I entered the kitchen with Alia in my arms to see bhabhi chopping dry fruits. Her eyes fell on us and she smiled.

"What happened?" She asked frowning when she saw Alia's red puffy eyes.

I told her everything and she kissed Alia's cheeks. 

"So bhabhi we will be back before 7 pm and Sid and V are coming with me. Do you need something from the market?" I asked.

"No I don't need anything! Take care and come soon okay!" She said.

Nodding I went outside and texted Sid and V to meet me in the parking area. Soon they came and I explained the situation to them. They both nodded and accompanied us. We all sat in the car. Sid was in the driver seat and I was on the passenger side with Alia on my lap. And we drove off.

After 40 minutes

Currently we were in New link road, Oshiwara, Andheri West. Sid parked the car in front of Infiniti mall and we came out. 

We went straight to the food court after entering the mall. I went to order whilst Alia was with Sid and V. I ordered chicken sandwich for me, a cheese burger and fries for Alia, two chicken burger and fries for V with coke and a hamburger with fries for Sid. I went back to my seat and saw Alia on Sid's lap talking with him whilst V was eyeing the girls in there. 

He's a flirt but not a player or heart breaker.

I sat in and joined in Sid's and Alia's conversation. Soon our order came and Alia's eyes lit up seeing her burger and fries. She digged in instantly making us three chuckle. We ate our food, took selfies and played some games with Alia in the play zone. Sid and V were waiting for me in the car with Alia and I was buying Alia's favourite chocolates as I promised her. Soon I went back inside the car and Alia squealed and jumped on to my lap from Sid's looking at my hand which had her heaven now.

She took them from my hand and ripping the wrapper, she took out one and took a bite.

"Yum!" She muttered.

I smiled and kissed her hair. She leaned on my chest munching her chocolate when Sid started the engine.

Back at home

7:10PM IST

We reached home and Alia took the chocolates and ran inside the house.

"MUMMY, DAADII, CHOTI DAADII I'M BACKK!!" She screamed happily.

Soon bhabhi and chachi came. Bhabhi saw the chocolates in Alia's hands and glared at me. I gulped and smiled sheepishly.

"Nothing will happen bhabhi. I will take care of her!" I said.

You know excess sweets are not good for teeth. And Bhabhi is reluctant to give her chocolates which she loves a way too much. So whenever I, bhaiya, dad or chachu gave her chocolates she used to gave us a piece of  her mind.

"Yes! Nothing will happen to the Princess. Tooth fairy will take care of your teeth. Won't she baby?" Chachi asked bending to Alia's height.

She nodded happily and gave her a kiss on cheek. Chachi hugged her and then picked her up.

"Come on Yuvi! Dinner is ready. Freshen up and come downstairs. We're waiting okay?" Chachi said.

"Okay chachi! Just ten minutes!" I said and she nodded then left to the kitchen with bhabhi and Alia.

Sid and V came after parking the car and we went upstairs whilst talking about work. 

Then we parted our ways and I went to mine whilst they went to their room. I took a quick shower and changed to a t-shirt and sweats. Them I made my way towards the dining hall.

Sid and V joined after 2 minutes of my arrival and we all ate our dinner. After dinner we sat on the lawn as it was a bit early for sleeping. We talked about different stuffs. Chachi, mum and bhabhi in a group whilst me, dad, chachu, bhaiya, V and Sid in another. And little Alia was playing with a puppy. The puppy was just outside the main gate and she requested chachu to let the puppy in as she wants to play with her. Chachu agreed and told one of the guard to bring it inside. 

We saw a car pulled in our driveway and came out Samaira.

We all smiled seeing her and she was oblivious of it as she has her back towards us and she was maybe thanking the driver! 

"BUIIIII" Alia squealed and ran towards her.

Translation - Aunty (Father's sis). Bua is the right term but Alia loves to va her Bui.

Sam turned with wide eyes and her mouth hung open seeing us! Of course she didn't expect us to be here today as we always arrived on the Diwali day itself. But this year was special as she is finally back from the UK after so many years! 

Seeing Alia running towards her, she smiled widely and picked her jumping self and spun her around. They giggled and finally she came towards us. She bent down and took mum and dad's blessings. 

"Kaisi ho beta? How was your studies in London?" Dad asked.

Translation - "How are you my child?"

"Hmm was it hard? Dekho kya haal bana liya hai apni. Kitni dubli patli ho gayi ho tum!!" Mum complained.

Translation - "Look at you, You've become so thin!!"

Sam giggled and said,

"Main thik hu bade papa (father's elder brother/uncle). And my studies went well. And to answer you badi maa, no I  am eating my diets properly and I am fit now."

Translation - "I am all right uncle."

Did I tell you Sam was so chubby and cute in her childhood! And now well she's looking pretty and lean. But I liked my baby sister as chubby and cute she was.

Then she moved to bhaiya and bhabhi and took them into a hug.

"Bhabhi! Bhaiya! How are you guys? When are you making me aunt again?" She asked wiggling her eyebrows. 

Bhabhi blushed at her words and bhaiya twisted her ear. Not too harshly. 

"Ow Ow Ow! Bhaiya leave..ow it's hurting! Yuvi bhaiya save me!" She whined.

I chuckled and bhaiya hugged her again.

Well you see, she's the only sister of us. And we treated her just like our own. We're kind of protective of her. Ok ok fine over protective!!

"Kaisi hai tu?" Bhaiya asked.

Translation - "How are you?" 

"What's up with you all people and asking me how I am? Look at me. I am alive and kicking. Super fit just like the wonder woman!" She said making us chuckle at her words.

I stepped towards her and took her in my embrace. I sighed happily. My baby sis!!

"Why are you so quiet Yuvi Bhaiya? Aap aise to nahi ho! What happened?" 

She asked.

"Cos I missed my baby sister so damn much!" I exclaimed making bhabhi awe.

I rolled my eyes at bhabhi. As you know being a businessman I am kinda ruthless and cold. But I'm not cold to my family. 

"I missed you too bhai!" Sam said.

I hummed and pulled back from the hug and kissed her forehead and saw from the corner of my eyes that the two elder couples (mum, dad & chachu, chachi) were looking at us in awe.

Then she moved towards Sid and V and hugged them too. They also treated her just like their own sister.

"Did you eat?" Chachi asked. 

Sam turned to her and said whilst bowing at her mum, "Jee Mata shri! Hum bhojan karke aa rahe hein." 

Chachi smacked her head and muttered "Drama queen". 

Indeed she is!

We all talked a bit about her, her studies, her life in LDN and about her future plannings then Sam and Alia went back inside to Sam's room to play dress-up.

After sometime we too called it a night and went back inside to our respective rooms. I went back to my room and laid on my bed looking at the ceiling.

My went back to when Sam said her friends and friend's family coming tomorrow to the morning puja. I wondered if Mridula will come. Damn! Why my mind went to her thoughts. I haven't even seen her ever. But still she is affecting me! I wonder if it will stay the way it is after I see her? Or it will vanish? Or worst, what if the feelings increase?

I slowly drifted off with the thought of the girl who's currently ruling my mind, whom I never met.
