Chapter 304

Jennifer woke up with a start and sat up in bed.

She quickly got the address and climbed out of bed.

Maxwell woke up to the commotion. He had overheard parts of the conversation and immediately comforted her, "Don't worry. I'll go with you."

With that, Maxwell drove her to Haven Hospital.

Two policemen stood guard outside Zion's ward.

Jennifer asked anxiously, "How's my father? Who did this to him?"

"Please sign here first, Ms. Yale. He is already in the operation room," one of the police officers said sternly, leading her to the doctor's office to sign the consent form.

Maxwell immediately called Simon. He ordered him to come over and try to find out why Zion had gotten into a fight.

Outside the operation room, Jennifer was bawling her eyes out. She blamed herself for not having rescued her father sooner. He wouldn't be in this situation now if she had.

Jennifer had already lost her mother. She didn't know how she could continue living if she lost her father too.
