Confession

Elaine stayed out in one place as they changed the directions and started to travel through a much narrower yet empty street. Elaine was expressionless as she watched outside the window, watching the scene pass by like a fleeting moment.

As Elaine continued looking outside the window, Drake started the conversation.

“Elaine..”

“Hmm….” Elaine replied without much enthusiasm. She would rather look outside the window and pass her time than look at him and feel all bitter from head to toe.

Although Drake hated the indifference compared to how Elaine used to look at him with shiny eyes when ever she saw him, he was happy she was willing to talk to him.

He cursed himself for not keeping his mouth shut when he had lost his control that night. He was still thinking that it was the reason that spoilt their relation.
