Chapter Twenty-Eight

Rex leaned against the wall while he allowed his body the opportunity to rejuvenate.  Capturing and bringing home the three zombies in one piece had not been easy.

They’d gone to an area that they knew zombies favored and dug a fairly deep pit.  After which, they lined it with netting from the volleyball court and waited.  The ground was harder than expected, so, by the time they’d achieved the desired depth, they were pretty tired.  There was also the stress factor.  It was a tense time since the zombies could have arrived at any moment.
