Crimson's POV

"Yes Father, I do have a good reason," I said.

I looked straight at Aethelfrith, the smirk on his face already faded, I clicked my tongue, and winked at Aethelfrith.

There was no way they thought I didn't have a backup plan, I wasn't that stupid.

I had planned everything carefully, from getting evidence to giving the punishment after all I learnt from the best. Leon, Aethelfrith, and Tyramon's faces were priceless at this moment. I wanted to laugh but I couldn't.

"Wh…wha.. what reason," Leon stammered,

I was expecting Aethelfrith or Tyramon to ask first but I was a bit disappointed that Leon asked first.

"Leon, be calm, I will answer," I said. I took a sip of water from my glass. I loved the panic I sensed in Tyramon's eyes.

"Crimson, what reason are we talking about?" The king asked me.

"If it's a good reason will you let my punishment be?" I asked, trying to strike a deal with the king.

"Yes, I promise not to interfere," The king promised.
