Crimson's POV

"They are dead? How?"

"Crown Princess, I don't know, I just met them dead," the guard said trembling.

"Explain what you saw," I said calmly.

"After dropping Crown prince Aethelfrith in your room, I went to my duty post, when I got there it was so quiet and I saw traces of blood on the floor, I went further then I saw the guard who was with Crown prince Aethelfrith dead on the floor," the guard explained.

"Then what about Azrael?" I asked, my curiosity piqued.

"He was chained, there was blood all over his body and yes his mouth too, the guard who chained him up was dead too"

"The guards on duty were killed but Azrael wasn't, explain to me how does it make sense," I said, pacing the room.

"Crown Princess Crimson," Rosa called out, when I turned I saw the guard was on the floor looking lifeless, Rosa and Katrina were by his side.

I rushed to them, I put my hand on his nose to confirm if he was still breathing, "he is alive," I breathe a sigh of relief.
