Lily's POV

I continued walking through that place, reminiscing about the lush forest where I had first met the Supreme Alpha. As we advanced, the landscape unfolded before us, revealing its majestic beauty. Tall pine trees formed a dense canopy above our heads, their needles swaying gently in the morning breeze. Sunbeams broke through the leafy barrier, creating patterns of light and shadow on the moss-covered ground. Every step was a deeper dive into the memory of that magical place.

"We can continue now," the soldier said matter-of-factly, after a brief pause for us to eat.

The Alpha remained silent, as if I didn't exist, not exchanging glances or words with me. It was clear that he was completely indifferent at that moment. "We're..." After a long silence, I finally found the courage to continue. "We're going to my old pack."
