Chapter hundred -four

Freya's POV

I was sitting down in a dive bar slash restaurant at noon minding my business when the bell over the door chimed to announce people walking into the store.

I turned to look at who had arrived just like everyone else in the place and saw two ladies chatting animatedly with hand gestures and the works.

The relief was instantaneous, and my shoulders relaxed a bit. Even though I've been in a beautiful town called Cubanos just a couple miles south of Florida for two weeks, I've been anxious and tense whenever I've seen or spoken to anyone else. The first week was the worst and I'm sure I had people looking at me to find out what was wrong or being hesitant to walk up to me.

I had just had this crazy feeling that either Ethan or Shadow was going to find me. It was so bad that I didn't step foot out of my room for the first three days until I was driven out by hunger.

Quite pathetic.

Even coming out here was factored in by a guy. I'd gone to the only supermarket this town boasted
