Third Person's POV After what felt like an eternity, Thaddeus finally knows where Aiden is. Marcus and Leo are Thaddeus's best trackers, and they found him. Jackson has him in a cabin on a piece of property his father owns east of Asher's territory, and it's not guarded. It's just Jackson and two other people, one of them being Eric. Aiden's POV I woke up feeling warm and comfortable. I nuzzled into my pillow when suddenly I felt someone run their hand through my hair. My stomach dropped and I squeezed my eyes closed tight and whimpered. Oh, Goddess, he's back! Is he going to hurt me again? I feel the tears instantly fill my eyes and my chest tightens. Aiden's POV It's been 3 weeks since I've been back, and the nightmares are getting better, I'm having fewer of them. Thaddeus told me they got Eric, but they were unable to get Jackson. Jackson was able to escape, and that terrifies me! I know he's going to come for me again, and I want to be ready this time. Abigail and I have been training much harder, and our powers have grown significantly. Abigail thinks that the better we get at using them, and the more we use them, the stronger we will be. Aiden's POV I'm so excited I can barely sit still as Thaddeus drives. I've never been to a human city or a restaurant! As we drive through the city, I realize it's not that much different than ours, except a little bigger. But Thaddeus said that's because our cities here in the UP are generally smaller. Aiden's POV I must have fallen asleep on the way home because I woke up to the sensation of being lifted out of the car and placed into Thaddeus's lap.
