Kidnapped

DACIANA'S POV

"Hmmm…" I groaned as the heavy sound of the shut door rang in my head.

The bullet that was shot at my feet scraped through and blood was dripping from my ankle.

"My babies…" I said, in a low tone. My eyes were shutting but then I clawed at the ground.

I could not even summon the courage to stand upright and in the next second, I passed out on the hard floor.

Three hours later, my eyes opened up and I was met with darkness.

"What the fuck!" I cussed and immediately I sat upright.

The bullet wound on my cheek had healed but I could still feel a burning sensation there.

The bullet wound on my ankle was starting to heal up and immediately I stood up to my feet.

The sky had turned dark and I did not know where to start from.

My children had been taken away from me and many thoughts whirled in my head.

Why did they take them instead? I was willing to be a sacrificial lamb for them.

"What do I do?" I asked myself as I held onto my head.

I started to pace around the whole tent while my eyes watered due to unshed tears.

I was broken at this point.

"Ulfred!" This name suddenly rang in my head as my eyes widened, in realization.

"He will help me! He has to help me!" I said to myself as I immediately scrambled out of the door.

In a split second, I decided to travel to the Dark Wand Pack where I came from originally.

I was dressed in a shabby, dirty and torn dress but I did not care.

I just wanted my children.

Traveling to the Dark Wand Pack wasn't something so easy. I hadn't eaten for days but then I did not care.

I was already sprinting toward the Dark Wand Pack which was on the borders of the Crescent Pack.

In a few hours, I was standing at the border, breathing heavily.

My eyes were red and my face was dry due to the wind.

My legs were shaky and it was a wonder how I was able to hold on this long.

The night I crossed the border flashed before my eyes.

It was just a year ago and I was 18 and foolish.

Yes! I was foolish.

I had a loving relationship with the Alpha of the Dark Wand Pack, Ulfred.

My eyes watered as the scenes from the past replayed in my mind.

Two years ago…

"Ulfred…" I called out, skipping from side to side.

I was just a 17 year old, waiting for my 18th birthday.

It wasn't just my 18th birthday but it would be the day I would claim Ulfred as my mate.

"Yes, little bun…" Ulfred turned to look at me, addressing me, fondly.

In one swift second, I rushed into his arms.

"It's my 18th birthday in a few days and I can't wait to be your lifelong mate." I said, in a sheepish tone while his arms wrapped around my waist.

"Yes." He answered, simply, placing a kiss on my cheeks.

For a moment, I was confused as to why he would give such a nonchalant answer but then I concluded that he had a lot of things on his mind.

I knew that Ulfred loved me dearly and he would not do anything to hurt me.

A few days later, it was my birthday and the celebration was in full swing. It was a full moon that night.

I was dressed in a long black and shiny dress. Immediately I descended the stairs with the effect of the full moon in full swing, my eyes were drawn to Ulfred.

The hairs on my body stood and my nipples puckered.

The scent of my mate, Ulfred, was in the air and immediately he was before me.

"Mate!" I declared before so many people. I could see the intense love in his eyes and immediately, I slammed my lips against his.

I could hear the distant applause as everyone else cheered at our pairing.

My heart drummed in my chest due to the connection I felt with him and I knew he reciprocated my feelings.

"I want you…" He said, in a low tone as soon as he broke the kiss.

Without thinking twice, I nodded my head, with a certain smile on my face.

Though we had been in a relationship, we hadn't had sex.

I saw no reason why I should make him wait. We were mates already.

In the next second, Ulfred swept me off my feet and I immediately wound my hands around his neck.

I just could not get enough of him and immediately I kissed him again and again.

All the while, Ulfred had a small smile on his face as he looked at me.

I knew I was his mate and all he told me was that he wanted me.

As he ascended the stairs, I could feel my body burn wherever we had contact. The spark and mate pull between us was obvious and I could not wait to undress him.

In no time, we were in the bedroom and with sensual moves, Ulfred undressed me.

Oh! I enjoyed every bit of that moment.

His kisses and gentle touches against my skin.

His slow and careful thrusts as he looked into my eyes.

Everything that went down, was etched into my memory.

After a few hours, I was exhausted and I felt sore. With so much satisfaction in my heart, I fell asleep.

Waking up the next morning, I shifted on the bed, wanting to find Ulfred.

However, he was nowhere to be found.

At that moment, I decided that he had pack duties and I shouldn't bother him and I proceeded to get cleaned and get dressed.

However, hours passed and Ulfred never came back.

My heart was starting to beat wildly. I realized I could not stay away from my mate for so long.

The love I had for him was intense considering we already had a relationship.

Standing up to my feet, I walked out of the door. The hallway was silent but I could hear distinct noises from the council room.

Immediately, I started to descend the stairs. I needed to find my mate even if he was in the council room.

"Ulfred…" I said, in a low tone as I approached the council room.

I was about to take one more step but then the door to the council room opened up and the elders swarmed out.

Swiftly, I put a smile on my face, ready to pay my greetings but they immediately walked past me, like I was nothing.

Immediately, my smile fell, knowing something was definitely wrong.

The elders were always warm toward me and their cold attitude surprised me.

"Ulfred should know what is going on." I said and as I was about to take a step closer to the council room, Ulfred walked out.

I halted my steps, seeing him but I was greatly surprised by who was beside him.

My mouth opened like a fish in water and I pointed at the beautiful lady beside him.

"Who is she, Ulfred?" I asked, noticing that Ulfred had his arms around her waist.

That was supposed to be my position!

"My mate." He answered, straightforwardly, and I gasped in disbelief.

"What do you mean? I'm your mate! Your only mate!" I declared, immediately, as a searing pain started in my heart.

"You're not my mate." Ulfred said, with his cold eyes on me.

His gaze made me shiver and I staggered at his words.

"You accepted me yesterday." I said, in a low tone.

My eyes had turned blurry due to unshed tears.

"I never declared you as my mate." Ulfred said to me.

"I, Ulfred, Alpha of the Dark Wand Pack, reject you as my mate!" He declared and immediately, I fainted due to shock.
