A big mistake

A NIGHT WITH XANDER

Chapter 2

"How dare you kiss me?!" He yelled in apparent anger.

Evelyn stood there Frozen in her spot meanwhile, Amelia who stood by the side could only smirk bringing out her phone to record the incident.

She was a regular customer at the bar years ago and back then everyone knew not to annoy the infamous Mr XANDER.

A man feared by peasants and when she dared Emily to kiss him, she didn't actually think she would be stupid enough to do so.

Now that it happened, she couldn't wait to watch the drama unfold.

Xander who was kissed was already bowling in anger, his fists clenched and unclenched when suddenly realization hit him that he didn't have any of those symptoms that normally happened when he was close to a woman and that was really surprising.

How she did it came as a surprise to him but he was sure to not show his emotions.

The tears prickling down her skin to the ground met his eyes. 

The tip of her nose turned red, looking further down to her plump lips which were moistened with her glistening tears.

Her Petit body quivered tremendously.

If there was a thing he hated other than women, it was the sight of a person crying in front of him.

It completely disgusted him but In her case, it was... Different.

Looking in the way she came from, he noticed a group of people standing there and in the midst of them was a lady smiling at her foolishness.

He knew a look like that when he saw one.

Then he figured it out, she was simply trying to use him.

Didn't she know she was looking for death by so doing?

"How dare you?!" Exclaimed a man from behind him attempting to step forward to drag the lady out but instead was surprised to see XANDER raise his hand to stop his actions.

Everyone got startled at his, whereas Evelyn who was still crying like a child couldn't understand anything in her vulnerable state.

"Evelyn!" 

A voice from behind her yelled giving a hint of to the man who stood with his imposing aura a hint of the name of the girl who stood before him.

Josh who stood by the side couldn't hold the sudden feeling of jealousy and rage that grew in his heart seeing Evelyn kiss another man who wasn't him so  stepping forward, he dragged her hand dragging her along.

"Let go of me!" She yelled.

Her melodiously shivering voice pierced the cavernous extent of his ears as he watched her tears rolling none stop.

Her resistance to go with him evident as she applied strength in pulling her wrist away from his.

"I don't want to go with you"

"Listen to me right now" he said

"You said you would let me go, so go on. Go with Amelia" she yelled but his grip on her didn't lessen.

"Don't make this hard for yourself"

Xander who stood in place seeing how the girl struggled in vain furrowed his brows and getting hold of Evelyn's wrist, with one pull she was pulled to his sturdy chest, a sweet mesmerizing scent invading her nostrils.

But when she felt his strong arms snaked around her waist, her body trembled as though she was just splashed with a bucket of cold water.

His hold on her gave off a domineering and possessive attitude. 

Her frail body was nothing compared to the veraciously beastly body.

"She is with me now" his deep, Velvety voice sounded leaving people even more surprised with the fact he held on to a lady.

His actions contradicted the thought they had of him as rumors spread that he was gay.

Josh didn't seem to like this and when he attempted to get hold of Evelyn once more, two men in suite stood in front of him blocking restricting him from getting to her.

"Step away" ordered Josh to receive a stoic look from them, their bodies like a blockage.

Amelia seeing the situation gritted her teeth stumping her foot to the ground at her failed expectations.

She expected Evelyn to be punished and not to be supported. Her gaze flew to Josh and quickly, she went to him signalling him to leave with her but as stubborn as he was, he shook her off, his gaze fully on Evelyn.

"Come on Josh. We will get her next time" she said pulling him along but his gaze was still on Evelyn in XANDER'S arms. Knowing he couldn't do anything else, he left with a clenched fist murmuring under his breath.

Seeing them leave Evelyn let a sigh of relief, her gaze followed them till they were out of sight.

At the moment she felt relieved but the pain in her heart didn't cease.

Just when she was focusing on her aching heart, she heard a deep voice sound from above her head.

"Now that they are gone, how do you intend to repay me?" She heard the man beside her speak.

"Thank you" was all she said to the stranger whom she hadn't gotten the chance to know.

But her words were brushed away when he scoffed at her. 

"I don't do thank you"

"I... I'm sorry, I don't have money on me at the moment but you can give me your account number so I will forward some amount of money to you"

Evelyn blurted out thinking that's what a normal human being would want if not a word of appreciation.

Besides she didn't have any problem sending him money since she used him. 

Xander stared at the nerves of the woman before him, his frown widening even more.

Clearly it could be noted that she had no idea who he was.

"Do you think I'm poor or I lack money? Your money is useless to me.

There are other ways you can repay me " as he said this, Evelyn noticed the devious grin which aligned his facials and the evil stare that came to his eyes. 

In her effort to distance herself away from him, he only held her tighter.

His grip even tougher than Josh's as he pulled her along. 

Aurora who attempted to step forward was stopped by his bodyguards.

It was then Evelyn realised the mess she was in.

That night, their bodies entangled in a passionate rhythm with loud moans filling the air. 

When morning arrived, the chirping sounds made from the bird awakened the sleeping figure on the bed making a yawn leave her lips.

Evelyn woke up to find herself in a new surroundings.

Her head throbbed badly and her vision still a little blurry due to the Ray's coming from the sun landing on her face.

It took a few minutes in order to adjust to the light and when she sat on the bed taking note of her environment, she felt a soar pain all over mainly coming from between her legs. 

Raising the sheets that covered her leg, she found herself completely naked, her eyes widened and her head flung to the direction of the bathroom when she heard the sounds of water.

This showed that she wasn't alone making a certain sense of panic to fill her body.

She was unable to remember last night's incident but after a while she started recalling the scenes that happened.

Josh's cheating nature,

Her getting drunk and 

And meeting this stranger.

Her eyes widened on the thought that he took her virginity.

How dare he?

Quickly, she rushed out of the bed where she went to her clothes finding it completely torn apart.

He was a rascal, he couldn't even be gentle.

The thought of this made her grit her teeth in anger and luckily there was a dress which laid on the bed, getting into those she prepared herself to leave the room.

"Where do you think you are going?" A deep voice sounded startling her when she opened the door.

His tall figure stood at the entrance blocking her way.

If he was here then who was in the bathroom?

She had assumed he was in the bathroom making her want to quickly leave without seeing him but here he was in front of her.

But who was now in there?...

Just as she was thinking about this, the door to the bathroom was pulled open,a female in a blue uniform stepped out.

"The bath is ready sir" she informed.

"Leave" he demanded for her to do as told.

His advances towards Evelyn made her heart skip a beat and instinctively, she began to move back in a slow pace, her eyes not leaving the figure in front of her till she reached the edge of the bed where her body  fell over.

Before she could sit erect, his body trapped her in between the sturdy chest and the bed making her breathing turn heavy.

"Mute now?" His voice although soothing only made her body tremble lightly.

"I'm going home" she said masking her emotions up trying to put up a bold font.

"In such a hurry" 

"You took advantage of me in my state. You raped me!" She accused yelling as well glaring at him for him to chuckle at her words.

"Rape? I don't think so. Did you forget you came on to me when you kissed me? Or the fact that you couldn't help but moan calling me all kinds of names in our love making?" He asked for her eyes to widen.

She did that?

Now she was left speechless with just his words, she really couldn't recall how it all happened.

"I want to leave"

"Stay" it wasn't just a statement. It was a demand as the cunning smile on his lips vanished making him look extremely terrifying as the rays from the sun hit his face.

His facials handsome as well dangerous.

Just then the phone rang out from the bedside resulting in him leaving her side to pick the call.

Seeing him so engrossed in the call, she quickly left his side running out the door without daring to look back.

It was a one time thing.

A big mistake that shouldn't have happened.

The loud bang attracted his attention and turning his gaze to the bed, he saw that she had left.

His gaze darkened at this but still a light smile spread across his lips.

His body guard stationed outside stepped in.

"She left boss. Do you want me to go after her?"

"No need. Find all the information you can about her" he said, his lips curling up in a satisfactory smile.

Finally, he has find his cure

How could he let her leave?
