Book Two Branch Two Hundred and Fifty Nine

"When would our food be here?" Aletta asked trying to stall. She knew she was going to tell him at the end of the day but she wanted to try her best to stall for as long as possible.

Joshua took up his phone and tapped away before looking up at her. "They should be arriving in five minutes or less" he said and she nodded.

"Let's take a tour of the house and talk over the food" she said pushing herself out of the chair they had made themselves comfortable.

"Okay," he said as he shrugged. There was nothing else to do after all. He could not give her a tour because he did not know the place as well as the owner should know.

He had been here once, this time making it the second time he visited the place. All he knew was that his family had a house on the outskirts of Grace Street.

"Aren't you going to give me a tour?" she asked and he shook his head.

"I don't know where anything goes," he said. Aletta thought it was a shame that the fully furnished house housed no one.
