Bonus Chapter: Jesse

Jesse's POV

I’d been locked in this room all night without seeing another soul. I assumed the Glass Lake Alphas knew I was here and why. Their Beta would have told them by now. I’d fully expected them to come storming in here last night, fuming over what I’d done, or tried to do, to their Luna. I would have gotten some small satisfaction from it if they had, knowing I’d at least ruined their perfect night. But they never came.

It could have been worse. I could tell this was a room for prisoners by the stark, slate-gray concrete of the walls and lack of amenities. But it wasn’t the dank, rancid-smelling lower cells reserved for the vilest offenders. Perks of being a fellow Alpha I guessed. Still, I didn’t want to spend any more time here than absolutely necessary.
