Upsetting him

"Grandma? Don't you think that 'the family dinners' are becoming too common and often in this house nowadays?" Natasha asked in a sarcastic tone while having a sweet smile on her face. 

Helena looked at her in displeasure and irritation as she put on a long face at Natasha. Everyone at the table went silent and looked at Helena with anticipation, waiting for her to give Natasha a piece of her mind. Samantha kicked Natasha under the table, making her look at her with a frown of confusion. In response, Samantha glared at her. 

"If you don't like the family dinners, you might absolutely hate the idea of being one of the heirs of the family too, right, Natasha?" Helena snapped at her in her cold tone. Natasha's eyes widened like saucers after hearing that and her mouth hand opened. 

"No! No! Grandma! I didn't mean that!" Natasha exclaimed in shock while getting caught off guard.
