As Cassandra listened carefully her eyes widened at the realization of her words.

‘’Baby, I don't know if I got it right, but I am certain whatever I heard sounded like that’’ Laura assured her.

‘’Will you act on it?’’ Cassandra did not want to worry her. She was over in France for her treatment and stress was what she wanted to keep far away from her bonus mother. She was hurt but she was still putting up a string for the sake of her only child.

She had no children of her own and never would she. Cassandra was the only one aside from her father aware Laura couldn't not have children consequently due to the terminal disease she had been battling for years. She was all she had and that made her love her even more.
