Alessia sat at her vanity, her reflection distorted in the mirror as she angrily brushed her long hair. The room was filled with the scent of a special perfume she had acquired from the oracle, a fragrance meant to bring forth the blessings of fertility.

"Damm it, why am I not getting pregnant?" she muttered angrily, her hands gripping the brush tightly. She sighed, staring at herself in the mirror.
