“How was your first night?” Jim immediately asked teasingly when Angel picked up the phone.

Angel smiled gently. “We haven't done anything on the first night,” she whispered.

She was always honest with Jim in everything and the fact that Jim was gay made her feel even more comfortable around him.

“What?” Jim's voice on the other end sounded surprised. “You guys haven't done the first night yet?”

Despite being on the other end of the phone, Angel smiled sheepishly. “We're too tired. Yesterday, even until ten o'clock at night, there were still guests arriving.”

“God,” Jim laughed. “That's the risk of marrying a big boss!” he said jokingly. “Don't worry; everything will be redeemed during your honeymoon.”

Looks like there will be no honeymoon, Angel thought to herself, suddenly feeling doubtful.

“Angel?” Jim asked on the other end, as if he was asking something. However, because she was busy with her thoughts, Angel did not respond.

“Uh, yes, what?” Angel muttered nervously.

“I was asking, where are your plans for your honeymoon.”

For a moment, Angel was confused about what to answer, and then she cleared her throat because she was nervous. “Uh, I don't know yet,” she muttered softly. “Dave hasn't told me his plans yet.”

“Maybe he will surprise you,” there was a tinge of teasing in Jim's voice. “I imagine he will take you to an exotic island that is unbelievably beautiful. Make sure you tell me, Angel!”

Angel forced a smile into her voice. “Sure I will, Jim.”

They then chatted briefly about Angel's greenhouse. Her mind calmed a little when Jim said he had hired a friend to take care of her greenhouse. Jim's friend had done the same thing when Angel was sick and the results were satisfactory. The plants in her greenhouse will do just fine.

Angel sighed after ending their conversation, still confused about Dave's attitude since last night. Was it possible, as Jim said that Dave wanted to surprise her?

In the films, she saw people sometimes behaved strangely and confusedly when they wanted to give a surprise. For example, to give a birthday surprise, people conspire to pretend to forget and not to congratulate, to make the birthday person feel sad and disappointed. Then in the evening, they give a happy surprise birthday party, making their surprise even more meaningful.

Is that what Dave is doing? Was the man giving her a surprise?

Until noon, Angel continued to spend her time alone in the house. She never thought this would happen to her, left to work, alone at home one day after her wedding.

The urge to visit the greenhouse and escape her boredom by taking care of her plants was strong. However, if she went to the greenhouse, Jim would definitely bombard her with a million questions and Angel would definitely not be able to answer, because she herself was still confused about what had happened.

She glanced at her cell phone. Quiet, no news.

Before they parted, Dave had always sent her thoughtful messages. Even just to say good morning, ask if she has eaten, or also sometimes give information about what he is doing.

However, now it was different, there was not a single message from Dave to her.

Is Dave that busy?

Angel was tempted to call Dave, but she was afraid that she might disturb him who was in the middle of an important meeting.

Angel sadly took a deep breath. She had to get out of this house, or she would go crazy.

She quickly changed her clothes, grabbed her bag and called a taxi.

“Moon Cafe,” she muttered, mentioning the place where Angel usually spends her afternoons there. A cup of warm green tea might help relieve the anxiety.

The cafe fits its name perfectly, Moon Cafe. The feel of a garden with full moon decorations surrounds the area. At night, the garden becomes silvery, like reflecting the night atmosphere under the beautiful moon, with attractive commensurate plants combined with orchid flowers in every corner.

The garden effect is even more real because all the walls are made of glass, so visitors can gaze at the garden view; feel peaceful while enjoying their food and drinks in the cafe. Unable to hold back, Angel is quite proud because she has contributed to the beauty of this cafe.

All the plants in this cafe, both in the garden and the decoration flowers, and all come from her greenhouse.

Dion, the middle-aged waiter whom she knew very well, smiled when she saw him coming.

“What are the newlyweds doing here?” he asked teasingly, making Angel feel embarrassed.

She tried to dodge Dion's question. “I still can't get rid of my dependence on green tea during the day,” she mumbled jokingly, making Dion chuckle.

“Orders will be delivered soon!" he muttered with a wink, and then walked away.

Soon the man returned, delivering a cup of distinctively fragrant green tea that was still hot. Angel really likes the smell of this green tea, especially green tea from Moon Cafe. Almost every day for the past few years, Angel had stopped by for lunch and enjoyed a cup of green tea.

“You're the only one who orders hot tea, even when the weather or atmosphere is hot.” Dion glanced outside, which was scorching hot. Fortunately, green plants protect the surrounding area of this cafe, keeping the air fresh.

Angel laughed. “People say green tea has a calming ability.”

“Well, calms a person with a lot of thoughts.” Dion smiled. “Definitely not for a newlywed like you, Angel.” The man half whispered, “Do you know what I always think when I serve this green tea?”

“What is it?”   Angel was immediately intrigued.

Conversations with Dion are always interesting. The man seems to have a wealth of experience and knowledge that can sometimes make Angel stunned.

“Secret.”

“What was it?”   Angel frowned even more at Dion's answer.

Dion laughed again. “Secret. Whenever I think of green tea I always think of secrets.”

He looked at Angel seriously. “You know when a cup of green tea combined with jasmine comes to you; the aroma is very distinctive and amazing. You are tempted and can even imagine the taste, before you taste it. However, then when you take a sip, you will surely wince, feeling the bitterness against your tongue. After that when you sip it repeatedly, and then you can find the beauty of its combined taste. Green tea is always secretive, it's not like the scent it displays, it even provides bitterness on first contact. You always have to little by little unravel the layers of taste until you find true pleasure in this drink.”

“Wow!” Angel fascinated by Dion's explanation. “I've never looked at green tea like that before. To me, it's just a nice drink and it's addictive.” Angel laughed. “It's amazing what you think, Dion.”

Dion chuckled. “Sometimes my boss says that my mind is too complicated.” The man glanced back. “But now my boss has never protested my way of thinking since he got married. He was too busy being happy, spending time with his wife. All the newlyweds can't seem to stand the distance from each other.”

Dion blinked an eye before stepping back. “Please enjoy your green tea, Angel.”

Meanwhile Angel is stunned to hear Dion's words that no newlyweds can never bear to distance themselves from each other.

She glanced at her cell phone that was still silent in silence. Angel took a deep breath, suddenly felt a bad feeling tugging at her heart.
