In the end, Angel couldn't help but visit Jim. She stood in her house that was also their office hesitantly. Jim's own house is right next to Angel's, so the man often goes back and forth between the office and his house, where he lives with his mother and two younger sisters.

Jim and Angel's relationship is very close, more than friends, like brother and sister. Jim's family also loved her very much. When her mother died, Jim's family automatically adopted her as an unofficial adopted child.

Jim's mother always expected more from Angel's relationship with Jim, knowing that she did not know the identity that Jim was hiding as a gay person. She repeatedly mentioned how nice it would be to have a daughter-in-law like Angel.

However, later when Angel planned her wedding with Dave, she finally accepted the fact that they were not meant to be more than friends did. Even then, it was Jim's mother who was eager to help with Angel's wedding preparations, making Angel touched because Jim's mother acted like her real mother.

“What are you doing here?” the voice behind her made Angel tiptoe in surprise.

Angel turned and saw Jim standing behind her. The man seemed to have gone out to buy food, because he had a plastic bag with the fast food logo in his hand. Angel glanced at the food Jim brought and sneered.

“You will die young from a heart attack if you eat fast food like that every day,” she muttered.

Jim laughed and rolled his eyes to mock her opinion. He stepped ahead of her entering the front of her house that had been converted into their office.

“Why are you here? Aren't you supposed to spend a wonderful day with your husband?”

Angel answered casually to avoid Jim's suspicions. “Dave has some work to do in his office, so I decided to come over and take a look at my greenhouse.”

“Working on the first day after the wedding?” Jim's voice rose.

“How outrageous!” the man shook his head dramatically.

They had entered the office area and Jim placed the plastic bag he had brought on the table. He pulled out his food and ate it deliciously. He glanced at Angel who was horrified at Jim's food order.

“You want some?” Jim thrusts his food, teasing Angel, knowing well that she is a healthy food maniac and will definitely refuse.

As expected, Angel shook her head. “I'm confused.”

Jim looked at her and frowned. “Why are you confused?”

“It's about   Dave.”   Angel's cheeks reddened. “He… last night his attitude was strange.”

Jim laughed. “Most newlyweds like to act weird, Angel. Maybe later you will find many new things from your husband. Something you never expected, but that's what marriage is all about.”

Angel    sneered.   “As if you're already an expert in marriage.”

Jim laughed, devouring his food deliciously. “I've never been married and probably never will be." His face looked sad, but he quickly changed his expression to a cheerful one. “But I read a lot and find out; you can come to me if you have problems with your marriage.”

They laughed together even though there was a slight tingling feeling in Angel's mind. Jim didn't look gay at all, he wasn't gentle or he acted like a girl. His body is strong and his appearance is manly like most men.

Angel couldn't imagine how painful it was for Jim to pretend and deny his true identity. Especially considering that Jim's mother often urged her only son to get married.

Talking about Jim's mother, Angel thought of her mother, her mother who was beautiful and so gentle. What Angel always remembers from her mother is the scent of flowers that enveloped her, the result of spending all day in the greenhouse.

Ah, if her mother were here, attending her wedding, she would be very happy. However, Angel believes in her heart that her mother must be happy up there, seeing her in the end find the man to take care of her.

“Where have you been?”  Dave's cold voice greeted Angel in the living room, making her frown.

She tucked her hair behind her ear nervously. “Uh, because there's nothing I can do, I… I decided to go to the greenhouse.”

“To the greenhouse?” Dave's gaze became sharp. “To see Jim?”

“Yes, also to see my greenhouse. Jim entrusted the greenhouse treatment to someone, so I stopped by to evaluate the res—”

“Can't you get the greenhouse and Jim off your mind? I'm sick of you always mentioning it in this house! If you really want to be a good wife, focus on this house, on this family, not just the greenhouse!” with a curt Dave walked away leaving Angel who was flabbergasted in the living room.

Angel felt her heart sinking like it was being squeezed. Her eyes felt hot, but she held it in. In her entire life, no one had ever scolded her so curtly.  Is Dave jealous of Jim as well as her greenhouse?

Angel's heart hesitated, but... it seemed back then, Dave didn't mind it at all.
