I knocked on the door when I reached the dean's office.

The door opened and a woman wearing corporate attire came out. I looked at her from head to toe. My heels are smoking high so all of them here are small.

She looked down when our eyes met and she fixed her polo. My brow shot up.

I walked inside the office and slammed the door.

"Who is she?"

I saw Devin massaging his head as if very stressed right now.

"Where is the dean?" I asked.

"I am the dean."

I made a laugh. "Funny."

I went towards him and sat on the chair in front of his table.

"What are you doing here?"

"Isn't it obvious?" I said, sarcastically. "Don't tell me you were expecting me to enroll in this hell?"

"What are you doing here, Lei?"

"I'm here for your father to consult about my papers."

"Consult of what? This is a school, not a hospital."

"I am here to enroll someone, hello."

"Then where is that someone?"

I shut my mouth.

"You have to bring her here in order for us to enroll her!"

I closed my eyes and raised both of my hands. "Jesus, chill. You're so hot."

"I'm not playing games, Lei."

"Okay, chill. I didn't expect you to be here. What I thought was I would get the chance to talk to your father-"

"With that kind of clothes?"

I looked down at my clothes. "What's wrong with my clothes? This is my favorite, asshole."

"This is a school for high school students, Lei. And we strictly don't allow students to wear anything vulgar."

"Well, sorry. I'm not your student."

He closed his eyes and massaged the bridge of his nose.

I scoffed. "You used to like small tops on me."

"What?"

"Nothing. What I'm saying is, here are the papers." I handed him a brown envelope. "Give that to your father or what, but those are the papers I told him. He will get it."

"What deal have you got with my father?"

"No deal. This is a clean talk, Devin. Stop thinking as if I do everything dirty."

"Yeah? Coming clean, are you now?"

I stared at him. Devin used to be my boyfriend. We lasted for eight months. We broke up because he thought I was cheating on him.

"Noiney Annesly. She's my sister. I'm thinking of getting her to this school."

Devin sighed so deeply and opened the envelope. I looked away.

"She's out of the country so I can't bring her. But the school year is about to begin, so I talked to you Dad. He said "hand me the information and papers, she'll get in"."

"Okay, I'm sorry-"

I stood up. "If there is still anything you need, call me. I'll bring her here once she's home."

"Lei, wait."

I continued walking. I slammed the door when I got out. Everyone was looking at me but unlike earlier, I am freaking mad right now, so whoever gets in the way, I swear I'll punch him hard.

"So annoying!" I exclaimed when I made it out of the faculty room.

I took my cigarette and lighter, but I stopped when I saw the guard again, a bit far from me. I rolled my eyes and walked in the opposite direction of the gate. My feet took me to the back of a tall building. There was no one in there, so I took my cigarette out and smoked.

I looked up and stared at the sky.

I scoffed again when I remember Devin. "What, he can't move on? Tss. It's been three months."

I met him at this school too, even though I don't study. Sarah used to come here and she invited me to an event. That's where I met Devin. He is the son of the dean who runs this school. He was a playboy. That's why we got along. He understands my job.

He was the only person who understood my job.

I threw the cigarette when I had finished and took out another one.

"Woah, do you know that this place is restricted for smokers?"

"Get lost, boy," I said, without looking at him.

He laughed. "Well, sorry to interrupt your moment, Ma'am. But the smoking area is right there. And not here."

I turned to him. "What's your name?"

He stood up properly like I'm some sort of a commander.

"I am Sky Anderson and I am part of the student supreme government. And it is my duty to get you out of this area because students come here to rest. Not to smell smoke."

"Are you stupid?" I muttered. He seemed moved. "How come the supreme government take a student as stupid as you?"

"E-Excuse me?"

"It's not school time yet, you dumbass." I lit my cigar. "Students come here and rest. Where is your student?"

He cleared his throat. "Pardon, Ma'am. But even without students, this area is restricted for-"

"Do you know who I am?"

He stopped to shake his head.

"I am the wife of the dean."

His mouth circled. "You're lying!"

"I;m not."

"You are!"

My head is aching. "I said I'm not! Hm, teenager!"

"You are. The dean is so old!" he shouted and ran away.

My eyes widened in shock. "H-Ha! Not that dean, dimwit! I meant the son!"

He was gone.

I screamed, "Ah! Stupid!"

"Why are you fighting with a kid?"

"He started it."

"You can't smoke here."

I looked at Devin. "What? You're going to fight with me either?"

"I am not a kid, Lei."

"Stop me," I whispered.

"How have you been?"

I looked at him only to roll my eyes. So he'd know I'm really not happy to talk to him.

"Am I not allowed to know your life anymore?"

"Fuck off, Devin."

"Lei, I just want a nice talk."

"Talk to my finger." I raised my middle finger at him and walked away.

I threw the cigar away and walked out of the fucking old school.

"If you come back here, don't wear revealing-"

"Back off, guard! I'm going to fucking wear what I fucking want."

"Hey!" he shouted, but I didn't look back.

I continued crossing the street when a loud horn buzzed.

"Hey!" I yelled when it stopped almost an inch away from my knees. "Fuck you!"

"What the fuck?" A man came out of the car.

"Watch where you're going!"

"You watch where you're going. This is a fucking street."

"Well, can't you see the red light?"

"There are no people."

I laughed sarcastically. "Then what do you call me? A mammal?"

He stopped. My forehead creased at him. I couldn't see his eyes because he was wearing dark shades.

"What? Do you realize now that I am a human being?"

"You looked familiar."

"What?"

He removed his eyeglasses and my lips parted when I got familiar with his face.

"You are that woman."

I bit my lower lip and surpassed my adoration. I stared at him with anger again.

"And so? Yes, I was. I remember you. You are that lonely simp monster."

The side of his lips rose. "Monster."

"E-Excuse me? Can you not please be decent? We are in the middle of the road."

Seriously, Lei? Talking about decent?"

"Let's talk somewhere else, then."

"Ha! Talk to my foot. I will never go with you!"

I took a step and almost had a heart attack when a truck passed by.

"What a freak! What is wrong with people? Can't they not see the red light?"

"It's a green light."

I glared at this man again. He's getting on my nerves.

"You work at that club, right?"

"Yes!"

He chuckled. "I'll be there later."

"If you're telling me that to get you a better treat later, then sorry. But I'm not interested."

"I'll be there to see you."

I raised a brow at him. "Do I even know you?"

"Yeah, we'll see."

I sighed. "Look, I'm not interested in who you are, or what you do in life. If you're thinking about a kiss, well, sorry to break your bubble, but it's part of my job."

He took a step forward. "Yeah? Is it part of your job to just come to me without me calling you?"

I stuck my tongue a bit and licked my lower lips. I saw her eyes drift down my lips.

"Yes. It's my job to entertain lonely men. We don't tolerate loneliness."

He then pulled me as he grabbed my waist. My eyes drifted on his back and I saw the guard looking at us. I rolled my eeys.

"Do you know that it's invading someone's privacy?" he whispered.

"If you don't want your privacy not to be invaded, then go lock yourself in a hotel room instead of going to a public bar where there is obviously a lot of people and noise!"

"You don't get it, Miss. You don't know everyone."

I leaned closer. "I don't know everyone. And I don't need to know anyone."

I pushed him away.

"Get off.

I don't know who you are and like I said, I am not interested."

I turned my back on him.

"Your name?"

I stopped again when he spoke.

"I'm not interested." I smirked at him and walked away. Very far away this time.

I don't get what he wants. I'm not interested in giving him my name. He's hot and handsome. But sorry to him, I'm not interested.
