Chapter Fifteen

Michael was surprised to be getting a call from Jane all of a sudden. And why was is she using Alice’s phone, ‘Was Alice in hurt?’, he thought to himself.

Quicky getting up from his seat, Michael sobered up instantly to the bewilderment of Blake. The thought of Alice in danger put his mind in focus.

“Where are you know?” He asked Jane over the phone with urgency.

“I’m in front of the coffee shop on main street.” Jane was a little freaked out by his tone.

“I’m on my way.” He said quickly, ending the call without a second thought.

“What’s going on?” Blake asked, seeing the determination on Michael’s face.

“Sorry, I need to go.” Michael said turning away from his friend.

Blake immediately grabbed Michael’s hand, stooping him from leaving, as Michael struggled to free himself.

“Hold it there, friend.” Blake said calmly. “You’re in no condition to be rushing anywhere.”

“I need to go, she’s in danger.” Michael said urgently.

“Who’s in danger?” Blake was still calm.
