CHOICELESS; I wish I am me

She allowed it to ring out, switching off her phone afterward. She wasn't ready to speak to anyone at the moment.

She squeezed herself under her pink duvet, crying her eyes out as she slept off.

It was on a bright afternoon, the sun shone warmly in the blue sky; Angela sat relaxed in her office; moving randomly on her swivel chair. Her eyes were shut, her palms were locked to her tummy. She was feeling the serenity of the vicinity.

Just before she knew it, her door burst open; opening her eyes instantly to see who had the temerity to walk into her office in such an uncivilized manner, she stood up surprisingly at the sight of Margaret walking in.

"Where have you been, Margaret; We've all been worried sick about you?"

"Just been around." She blurted; pulling the office seat backward as she sat opposite Angela.

Angela sat back in her seat as she continued with the discussion.

"I've missed you, my dear friend! You just forgot and abandoned me!" She teased.

"That's why I came."
