Isabella's POV

4 Months Later

I got up from my single-size bed when the back pain got even worse than yesterday. I gripped the back of my hip, slowly massaging it for a few seconds and I let out a loud sigh when I realized it didn't ease my pain at all.

Then I stood up and my eyes instantly met the calendar and when I saw the big red cross mark on today's date, I bit my lower lip not knowing how to feel.

I knew I marked it because today was my pay day, but another reason why today oddly different from other dates was.. it's been four months since I've broken up with Christian.

When I fought with him, I ain't aware that running away from him, only brought me closer to its end.

I mean, I was dead long ago. I was just breathing only for this baby. I'll be giving birth anytime soon and after that, I knew I'd start questioning about my existence. But I was hoping that she, my baby, would bring out the happiness I lost.
