Damon's pov

It was morning, and Elysia looked radiant as she sat at the breakfast table, sipping her coffee and nibbling on a croissant. But even as I watched her, something nagged at me, deep in my heart.

Had she remembered? Had she figured out what I had done?

As she rose from the table and headed upstairs to change, I took a deep breath and tried to shake off my anxiety. But when she reappeared, dressed and ready to go, my nerves were still on edge.

I tried to put on a brave face as we headed to the living room, where our son Ian was playing with his toys. But I could feel the tension between us, and I knew that something was off.

As I settled onto the couch, my phone beeped with a new message. I glanced over the screen, and my heart skipped a beat.

It was from Julius,

"Quincy Randolph, is at the transportation company, he held an open meeting. Where are you?"

My eyes turned red with anger. How dare he? How dare he try to steal my company out from under me?
