Warm Embrace

The Third prince stood at the large stable, staring at his favourite horse, Amigo. He had wanted to go for a ride to cool off these emotions he was feeling but now that he was here, he no longer had the will to go riding anymore.

"Amigo." He called, stroking his horse. And as he stood there, the memories of what happened earlier replayed in his head. He had always been in control of his emotions, he had never showed anyone how pained, hurt and bruised he was but back there, while he watched her defend him, he just lost it. Those emotions he had always hidden, those emotions he had masked within him had just been unmasked by her. That Lady... how does she always manage to bring out that part in him he had thought was long gone? How does she always manage to bring out that self in him he thought he had buried in his heart? Just how? How could he feel this way because of some mere words she had spoken? Was that how lonely he was? Was that how love deprived he was that it felt like
