Telling Noah The Truth

“Noah!” Anthea smiled, looking at her brother, who was peeking at her bedroom door.

“You asked for me.” Noah cleared his throat before hesitantly stepping inside.

“Yeah. Please come in.” Anthea tried to smile at him more while calling him inside.

“Sit here.” She instructed him, patting the seat next to her after he stepped inside and reached her bed.

“How is your leg?” Noah sighed as he looked at her leg, which was wrapped in a bandage and placed on a pillow.

“Great! But I still can't walk.” Anthea chuckled, trying to lift his sullen face. She knew what was going on inside her brother’s head. He might have done those things and spoken harshly that day because of his rage, but that wasn't the whole of him. Her brother was kind and gentle from the inside out. She had faith in both her and her father’s upbringing.

“You will be fine.” Noah barely smiled, touching her legs gently.

“Yeah!” Anthea nodded. A moment of silence passed as they both struggled with their own thoughts. Anthe
