I walked into Spencer's with the most dreaded fear on my face. The lady who I clashed with earlier was staring at me with a mocking smile on her face.

He should have briefed on the fact that he already has a girlfriend which I thought was the reason why he was suddenly acting cold towards me.

“You asked me to come to your office, sir,” I said forcefully as I stood in front of them.

“Yes. Miriam was telling me about how rude you spoke to her earlier today, why?” He asked.

So Miriam was her name, huh? I thought in my mind. It was obvious since she was his girlfriend, whatever I said was never going to be a solid reason for her complaints. Nevertheless, I had to reply to him.

“I'm deeply sorry for what happened. It was a simple misunderstanding between the both of us,” I replied.

“Misunderstanding? You were acting like you are the boss here!” Miriam accused.

“I wasn't aware that you portrayed my character like that, it wasn't in my intention to get such a bad impression from you.”
