I stood in awe in front of the mirror. It was still like a fairytale story to me… I was officially in a relationship with Spencer Martins. I thought I could prevent this from happening but it was as if fate had the upper hand, all we had to do was succumb to what it had in store for us. Lydia came into the room, her eyes on me like a hawk.

“Come on, Lydia. Nothing is going to happen to me,” I said to her.

“How can I tell? The last time I let you off my sight, you got kidnapped,” she said.

She sounded really worried about what had happened. I could tell from the way her face twisted in worry whenever she looked at me. I don't want Lydia to carry the responsibility of having to look after me. After all, it wasn't her fault that Collins and Tessa wanted to use me to get rid of Spencer so badly.
