Jared“I’m going into town for a few things. Wanna come with? Jared It's a normal Thursday afternoon so I have no clue why Flint is going so crazy. He's been on edge the whole day. My wolf is usually really chilled so the sudden mood change is strange. It's the afternoon of the party and I place the bow on Danika's gift before loading my stuff in the car. I feel a little nervous on the way to Chiara's house. Everything has been going so well though. Chiara has been so lovely. I can see us becoming good friends which hasn't happened in a while. Maybe I should shut it down. Go back to being alone. My shoes are an unknown object while I dance my feet raw. It's all I can do to not have more alcohol. But the taste lingers on my tongue. The bitter, mind altering taste that nothing can wash away. The day goes by so painfully slow. Our group is paired with the one Jared’s in and all I can think about, breathe in, is the little slag draping herself on Jared like a fur coat. The thought of shooting and skinning her cane through my mind a couple times. It’s about 11 at night. Everyone is finally asleep. I quietly dig in my bag. Once I have everything I need, I use the tree outside our window to reach the ground.
