Chapter 7

They reached the hospital in sometime and Anushka was quickly rushed in the ICU. The doctors were worried that she had lost a lot of blood. And her young age was not helping their concern as they could not harm her body any further by giving her higher doze of medicines.

After checking Anushka’s condition and completing her treatment, the doctors told Angelina and the officer that was there with them, “She is fine but her head was severely injured. There can also be the chances that she gets amnesia. But we will have to wait for her to wake up before confirming. You can see her as she has been shifted to the normal ward.”

Angelina was scared after hearing about this. She along with Andrew and the officer made her way towards the room where Anushka was being held. The officer stayed at some distance from the room not too far to not know anything happening inside and not too close to intrude their private space. Angelina was contemplating whether to go inside or not. Andrew saw this a
