Chapter 63
Nathan wakes up inhaling a deep breath like he has been drowning, this startled Laura as she was not expecting it, her hand was on her chest with her eyes popped looking at him. Nathan finally noticed her and he gave her a small smile. “Am sorry, I didn’t mean to startle you.” He apologized to her and Laura calmed down a bit. “Am glad to see you back and your father will be happy too,” Laura told him getting up from where she was seating.
Nathan wanted to ask about Anita but was afraid of the answer he was going to get from Laura. “I have mind-linked your father and told him that you are awake. Anita is okay.” She told him without looking at him and left. Nathan sighed feeling defeated and wondering what it will take for him to fix things with everyone. ‘Why is she angry with you?’ asked Brice making Nathan sigh once again.
