Nathan’s heart ached seeing his mate like that, he closed his eyes to fight the tears from falling. ‘Goddess, did you bring my mate to me only for me to keep hurting her like this? Did you not maybe make a mistake giving her to me? I am not good enough for this angel, she is pure and had a heart of gold.’ Nathan said a silent prayer before taking slow steps towards his mate. His feel felt heavy to lift and his heart hurt painfully in his chest.
