Shanelle POV
As I settled into my seat on the plane, ready for the journey back home to San Francisco, I couldn't shake off the heavy burden that had settled upon my heart. The events of the past day haunted me, casting a dark shadow over my thoughts. Beside me, Beatrice and Kayleen sensed the change in my demeanor. Their concerned glances spoke volumes, but I couldn't find the strength to share the truth with them just yet.
When I returned from my date with Vincent, my heart shattered and tears stained my cheeks. Beatrice and Kayleen did their best to offer comfort, but their words seemed distant, unable to penetrate the depths of my despair. I knew I had to face the consequences of my choices alone, and the pain of that realization only compounded my sorrow.

Shay's POVBy the time I reached home, our butler quickly tells me that my parents and my siblings have already left for the event.
