Mr. Williams’ gaze met his daughter’s, each glance stirring a sense of disappointment within him. Though he did not speak, his furrowed brow and tight-lipped expression revealed a hidden pain that he couldn't conceal.

Despite Mr. Williams’ attempts to conceal his disappointment, it became visible in his facial expressions, especially in the obvious shifts of his brow and mouth.

Determined to rectify his perceived failure, he promised in his heart to be the father she deserved, no matter the obstacles or challenges that might arise. He knew that this was his chance to make amends, and he wouldn’t let it slip away.

Clearing his throat, he started. "Abigail, I need you to listen attentively to me."
