Chapter 54 Allister

Allister POV

After sending a text to my pack’s I looked down at Alpha Samuel’s sleeping form as he took in deep, short breaths. It was almost time for Samuel to meet the Moon Goddess. I took out the last vial of wolfsbane and placed the needle in the vial to get its remaining contents into the shot. I brought the injector up to the light and flicked the glass to ensure there were no airbubbles.

“No hard feelings, Samuel. But, it’s time this pack has a true alpha.” I looked at his sleeping form. “And right now you just aren’t meeting the mark.”

As I plunged the liquid into Samuel’s IV, I heard a gasp and the sound of something falling on the ground. I let out a curse and quickly turned to see Chrissy standing in the doorway with her hands covering her mouth. Before she could move, I moved with supernatural speed to where she was standing and yanked her into the room before anyone could see her.
