Chapter 1 The Fairytale

Eve POV

I could never believe it, I was literally living in a fairy tale. Life could be this good I hadn’t imagined it in my wildest dreams. Sam who was our Alpha’s son and I had a crush on him for a long long time was finally holding my hand. His warm grip on my hand was sending joyful sensations throughout my whole body.

We had just finished running laps around the school grounds and Sam had walked over carrying ice-cold water bottles. Making all the other girls jealous. They also needed a drink but guess what they didn’t have anyone to bring them one.

“Don’t want my love to melt in this heat,” Sam said standing in front of me blocking the sun. This was all new to me, Sam was my first and only love.  I still remember the first time Sam confessed his love to me....

“Eve you know, I have always fancied you,” Sam said.

“But I thought you never liked me?” Eve said

“Why do you think that?”

“Well you always avoided my gaze”

“It’s not that, I am just a bit shy”

“My love for you is forever Eve”

Best words I had heard in my whole life from someone. I was from a warrior clan parents and to be dating someone from the very top of the pack food chain was something every girl dreamt of you. Sam had rejected Regina who was Beta’s daughter and had chosen me over her. I felt special, he made me feel special as we walked on the school grounds, holding hands and talking about our happily ever after.

From then on we were a bunch never separate. He became my everything. I would spend day and night thinking only about Sam and me. One day Sam took me on a walk, and he told me that he wanted to show me a secret spot in the school. We passed the cheerleaders who were practicing their dances for the upcoming event. I could hear them talking behind our backs, I kind of enjoyed this, this status of being like a queen. Then we came to a halt. No one was around us. I could hear the birds in the distance. Sam moved closer to me, still holding my hands. I could feel his breath on me. My face went red, I couldn’t control myself any longer. I wanted him to touch me. And as though Sam heard my thoughts, he went in for a kiss. His soft lips on mine were something I had always wanted from him. His hands let go of mine and were on my slender waist, bringing me closer.

His tongue wanted my lips to open up and I finally gave in and let him in. His hands were firmly grasping my hips now. We were kissing like we were glued together. And I couldn’t help but moan from pleasure.

I was wearing a white tank top and his hands very easily went from my hips to my soft and gentle breasts. I could feel my nipples getting hard from his touch.

My hands went to his white cotton shirt and started unbuttoning it revealing his muscular shaved chest. My hands felt his pecs as we kissed deeper and deeper.

Sam was kissing my neck now and I felt the familiar wetness down there. Oh God, I loved it. I wanted him to go further. But right at that moment, I heard footsteps in the distance and we stopped.

Sam hurriedly put his shirt back on as I adjusted my top. And very quietly we made our way out of there.

“Phew! That was close”, Sam said as we made our way back.

“Yeah, but I want more kisses”, I said in a cute voice.

“Babe you can have all my kisses forever, we’ve got a lifetime together”, Sam said and hugged me tightly before letting go of me. I could smell his perfume on me, smelt like wood and rain. I just loved everything about my man, my wolf.

Pretty picture right?

It all changed for me in a blink of an eye.

It was almost a year since I and Sam had started dating and everybody was envious of us and most of the girls were jealous of me. We didn’t care. We were young and madly in love.

So it was just a usual day for me at school when during my last class I received a text from Sam.

“Let’s meet after school”, the text read, well this was strange because we usually met at night when most of the pack is inside their houses.

I was curious, and anxious too, so I asked him what was wrong, he didn’t reply at first then sent me a location to come and meet him. I agreed reluctantly.

“Sam love is everything alright”, I asked. We were standing in the parking lot of the now-abandoned shopping mall. Not a soul was in sight. Sun was shining bright on our faces. And I was anxious for what was about to come. I was dreading that something horrible was creeping up on me. I was already going numb.

“Eve I don’t know how to say it, but I don’t love you anymore, I don’t want to stay with you” Sam dropped a bomb on me with those words. His words pierced my heart. I couldn’t breathe, it can’t be true. He had said that we would be together forever.

“Are you in your senses, what are you saying? We were going to get engaged this year, I had planned all the events, every detail we went through together, tell me you are joking”, I pleaded with him. I didn’t want it to be true.

“It’s no joke, it’s over, the sooner you realize the better”, He answered coldly.

“But why?” I asked, I wanted to know what went wrong in our relationship. I was willing to fix everything….anything.

“Just leave me alone, I’ve got better things to do than hanging around a freak like you,” Sam said. Those words stung me. A freak? Me?
