CHAPTER 11

ALISTER'S POV

It's been two days and the tournament was almost over, however, there was still no sign of that light, after she ran out of the arena.

Could something have happened to her? I stared at the particular spot in the arena, the spot where she was last seen, and no matter, how much I told myself, that I didn't care if she lived or died, there was still this feeling of restlessness that plagued me.

And I knew it wasn't because of the bet I made with alpha Greg,

No!

It was much more than that. It was a kind of feeling that frightened me, a feeling considered a weakness and detrimental to someone like me.

Could it be that Light cast some kind of spell on me?

If not, why were my thoughts constantly invaded by such a spooky little human like her when it's only been a few weeks since I met her?

Huh! How ironic!

I laughed out loud at the thought, completely ignorant of both the people around me and the ongoing tournament.
