Chapter 42

Finn's POV

I'm startled awake when I hear someone screaming and feel something hitting and kicking me.

My eyes shoot open as a finally look around to see what's going on and that's when I hear Maddox crying and screaming.

"No!... Please don't do this!"

I quickly sit up and look at him as he's flailing around while sleeping. His body is trembling and sweaty. Tears streaming down his face as he cries and screams. He keeps screaming over and over, "no, please stop, don't do this to me!"

I'm confused not sure why he's having this type of nightmare. It breaks my heart hearing him scream and cry like this. I climb on top of him as I try to control his arms and legs while yelling his name over and over again, trying to get him to wake up.

Addison is at his side as she shakes him trying to wake him.

I break down as I hear his cries, hear him pleading for someone to stop hurting him.

What could have happened to cause him to have this type of dream.
