Chapter 32 - Cravings

Elijah's POV

He saw Charlotte sleeping while accompanied by Rosa in the room.

"Oh, you're here."

"She fell asleep."

Rosa smiled. "When pregnant, if she leans, she can fall asleep immediately. I just called you less than 30 minutes ago."

"Let's just let her sleep. By the way, where's Elisse?"

He hadn't seen his sister inside the house. Elisse should be in this room because she's a notorious gossip woman.

"She left too, and she still hasn't come back. I'll go out for a moment. If you stay here, she might look for you when she wakes up."

"Alright."

Rosa left, and he sat on the bed near the feet of Charlotte while watching her. How would she manage to go to school like this? She would surely feel sleepy and lazy.

He stood up and went to the cabinet to get some clothes to change into. It was still too early to go home, but he needed to for Charlotte's sake.
