Not saying a single word to Amara, I started my car and finally drove out of the company. She was equally silent, and after hours of driving, we soon arrived home.

I waited for the security guy to pull the gate open, then I maneuvered my car into the premises and parked.

Amara was the first to get out of my car, and as I got out, I saw my father standing at the mansion's front with a warm smile playing on his face.

I watched Amara walk up to meet him. Approaching him, she greeted my father, "Good evening, sir."

"Welcome, my daughter-in-law; how was your first day at work?" Dad asked Amara. Only then did it dawn on me that I didn't even remember to ask Amara how her day at work was, not after seeing her laughing and playing with Henry.

I decided to set boundaries between them. As much as I didn't want Anara as my wife, that didn't mean I would overlook her for flirting with the men in my firm.

Amara was pretty, and I know Henry was still single and unmarried.
