Chapter 7

After hearing that, her stomach magically produced the sound, announcing to the world that she was hungry. They stopped their walk momentarily before resuming the walk as if nothing happened.

“Sorry about that,” she murmured in a low voice, mortified by the loud sound of her stomach. Sir Shiraz only nodded and did not say anything, whereas the maids were walking behind them, and Selene heard them giggling faintly.

They finally arrived at the most prominent dining room she’s ever seen. It was a hall with a long table filled with fresh flowers, and at the side of the table, there was one seat already filled with tableware and hot meals served on the table.

“Is this for me?” she looked up at Sir Shiraz, who stood still with an impassive expression.

“Yes, Miss. The waiters are waiting over there if you need help. I will wait outside the door until you finish,” he said before he exited the room.
