Chapter 8: Morning Accident

Sophia is currently standing in front of the window frame. The cold breeze of the early morning air brushed through her face as it entered her room. She closed her eyes and breathed slowly, relishing the feeling.

A week has passed since she was discharged, but ever since then, not once did Caden sleep with her in their own room. He always insisted to her that they sleep separately for her sake, since she might still not be comfortable with them being together.

She wanted to insist, but she also understood his side and didn't want to press anymore and decided to just let go of the topic.

"It's so quiet in here." She whispered in the air, as she turned around, her white night dress that didn't reach her knees, moved along with her body in a beautiful rhythm.

She was barefoot on the cold floor. She strutted her way outside to look for Caden.

She passed the long hallway, and eventually knocked in front of Caden's room to see how he was doing.
