Catherine finished preparing the food, put the order in a cart, and wheeled it toward James's room. She tapped at the door, but James did not respond. She touched the handle, and the door gradually opened. She pushed the cart inside the room and got in.

She meticulously set the food on the table and then stood aside to wait for James to come out of the bathroom.

Within a short time, James came out with a towel wrapped around his waist, his head dripping water from his bath.
