EMILIA POV

“Here we are,” Seth introduced as we stepped within the borders of Fangsbane, making a gesture of holding out both of his hands to showcase the pack that he claimed was his. “Welcome to Fangsbane Pack, where you’re supposed to belong, Emilia. Too bad that you went against me.”

“When and where do you want me to address the people?” I asked, going straight to the point to show him how uninterested I was in his words and his antics.

“Quite eager, aren’t we?” He chuckled before facing me fully with a frown. “How long will it take Lucas to gather his soldiers and come back to this pack for you? Don’t lie to me.”

“He’s not going to,” I assured. “I told him to stay back.”

Seth looked around at his men, who scoffed as if silently telling him that I was the last person for him to trust. Then, he grabbed me by the hair and swung me to the side so that I would bend in an uncomfortable position.
