I refuse

Grace's POV

I couldn't believe I was seeing my baby in front of me. She rushed towards me before climbing on the bed,

“Baby, my love” I pulled her into a hug as fresh tears slipped out of my eyes. At least these were tears of relief,

“Why did you go with some men you didn't know” I cried as I hugged her tighter,

“He said he was daddy,” she replied when I finally let her pull away.

“No, baby. You don't go about believing every man is your daddy” I asked and pulled her back into my embrace.

“I miss you so much. Don't do that to me again, I beg of you” I kissed the top of her head while she nodded. I scanned her from top to bottom to check if she was hurt, but she looked fine.

“I won't, I'm sorry Mommy” she apologized with teary eyes, making me kiss her head again and again. When she pulled away, she turned,

“I'm sorry Daddy,” and I snapped my eyes to see him standing there, resting on the door frame with his hands crossed. I gulped when I saw him staring at us.

“It's okay princess
