Bonus chapter

Chris’ POV

As the boy we were having a show down and chatting up with the boys discussing game plan for the upcoming finals before coach interrupted me

“Chris come over to the office.”

His impression got me worried so l hurried behind him and was in the office a few seconds behind him.

“Kayla called and - ” I immediately interrupted him

“Is everything alright.” I was now alarmed jokes all aside, Kayla wasn’t one for pranks cause she knew to call directly here if there was a problem at home.

“Walk with me.” He states

“Lay it straight coach.” I stop him from walking any further and l was trying by all means to stop this heart from skipping any more beats and slow it down a bit but it really wouldn’t cooperate.

“Just get home soon and call the ambulance on your way.”

And by the time he said ambulance l was running to the car , my heart was beating so fast and the fear of losing Kira or anything bad happening to Kayla started to kick in . I was trying to really go by the road rules b
