Chapter 11 Three Months.

Seeing a pouch of papers seated on my thighs, I quiver at the mere thought of knowing what is written inside.

“Pick it up,” Dexter orders once again, causing me to flinch from fear.

Unwillingly, I reach for the brown envelope and open it, a bunch of papers come falling out which I catch with my hand blocking the opening of the paper.

At once, my brows furrow as I come in contact with something quite troubling and my heart starts to race.

“This…” I look at Dexter with a long face, the words refusing to leave my mouth as my expression begs him to spare me from seeing what is in the envelope, but he gives me a cold shoulder and stretches out his hand.

Slowly he takes the papers away from my hand, and takes off the envelope, delivering a bundle of white papers in my hands.

“Now, read it,” he orders.

Test…

Test…

Tests…

All the papers are test results, and it’s much worse than I feared it to be.

My birth certificate, my blood group, my health, and everything relating to me are on the papers
