Alpha Damon ate his dinner quietly, avoiding eye contact with Princess, who was seated right across from him at the dining table.

She looked as if she had questions, questions he knew very well that he had no answers to, or maybe he did but just was not ready to acknowledge them.

Her eyes glanced at him every few minutes, and she seemed to be contemplating the right moment to speak, he just hoped she did not.
